VITEEE 2025 Application Process

The application process for VITEEE 2025 is structured in six simple steps:

  1. New User Registration
    • Provide a valid email and mobile number.
    • Verify through an OTP sent to your mobile.
    • Receive a password via registered email.
  2. Sign in for Registered Users
    • Use email and mobile number for login.
  3. Filling Online Application Form
    • Enter details carefully and note the generated application number for future reference.
  4. Payment of Application Fee
    • Domestic Applicants: Rs. 1350/- via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or Paytm.
    • International Applicants: Equivalent of USD 90 in INR.
    • Note: The application fee is non-refundable.
  5. Uploading Photograph & Signature
    • Photograph: JPEG format, 20-300 kB, 300×400 to 400×550 pixels.
    • Signature: JPEG format, 5-150 kB, 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
  6. Download Filled-in Application Form
    • Save the completed form for future reference.
    • No need to send a hard copy to VIT.

VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidates applying for VITEEE 2025 must be Indian residents, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO). NRIs can apply under the NRI category, while foreign candidates who studied abroad must apply through the international application form. The eligibility will be verified during counselling, and failure to provide valid proof will result in disqualification.

Age Criteria

For VITEEE 2025, candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2003, to be eligible. The date of birth recorded in the High School/SSC/X certificate will be considered final, and candidates must produce this certificate during counselling.

Failure to provide valid proof of age will lead to disqualification. AUBSP recommends that applicants ensure they meet this criterion before applying to avoid any issues during the admission process.

Qualifying Examination

Candidates must have completed or be appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exams. A minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology is required (50% for SC/ST and students from J&K/Northeastern states). Open School candidates with a minimum of 5 subjects can apply.

Selection Criteria

  • Selection is based on VITEEE 2025 rank secured in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • Ranks up to 1,00,000 are eligible for all four campuses (Vellore, Chennai, AP, Bhopal).
  • Ranks above 1,00,000 are eligible only for VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal.
  • Final admission is granted upon document verification and fee payment.

Exam Pattern

The VITEEE 2025 exam follows a structured pattern, consisting of 125 multiple-choice questions divided into different subjects based on the applicant’s chosen stream.

The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The test is conducted in English only, and the ranking is determined using the Equi-percentile method. AUBSP advises candidates to thoroughly review the syllabus and practice mock tests to enhance their performance.

MPCEA Pattern (Mathematics)

For MPCEA (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude) candidates, the exam includes 40 questions in Mathematics, 35 in Physics, 35 in Chemistry, 5 in English, and 10 in Aptitude.
