ICAI Extends Fee Concession for CA Students Till 2028

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Board of Studies (Academic), has made a significant announcement regarding the extension of the 75% concession in registration course fees for candidates and students from certain Union Territories and North-Eastern states of India. This initiative aims to provide financial relief and encourage aspiring Chartered Accountants from these regions to pursue their careers without financial constraints.

Who is Eligible?

The concession is applicable to students registering for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course from the following regions:

  • Union Territories: Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
  • North-Eastern States: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.

Extended Deadline for Concession

The ICAI has extended this concession till March 31, 2028. This means that students enrolling for any level of the CA course before this date will be eligible to receive the benefit.

Revised Fee Structure

The concession applies to all three levels of the CA course: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. The table below details the revised fee structure after applying the 75% concession:
