Job Description
Director (Marketing) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director. He/she is jointly responsible to meet the corporate goals in coordination with the other Functional Directors.
He/she is primarily responsible for formulation, implementation and monitoring of marketing policies to achieve the targets of the Marketing Division by ensuring sales of company’s products in both the retail and direct/ bulk segments.
Educational Qualification
The applicant should be a graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/ Institute. Applicant with MBA/PGDM qualifications will have added advantage.
That means, if you are graduate then you may apply for the post of Director (Marketing). However, additional qualification will make your chance high for the job.
Applicant Age Limit
According to the PESB notification dated 22.12.2021, the minimum age of the applicant should be 40 years. The age of superannuation for this recruitment is 60 years.
On the date of occurrence of vacancy (DOV) i.e. 26th July, 2021.

Job Experience
The applicant should have at least 5 years cumulative experience in marketing Agri-inputs i.e. Agrochemicals, Seeds, Fertilizer etc. during the last 10 years in an organization of repute.
Applicants possessing adequate experience in the area of Market Research, Product Development, Sales Forecasting, Planning in Agri-input Industry would have added advantage.
Job Salary
As per the official notification, the selected candidates will get the salary of ₹51300 to ₹73000 as per norms.
Appointment Duration
The appointment shall be for a period of:
- 5 years from joining date; or
- upto the date of superannuation; or
- until further orders,
whichever is earlier.
