CTET Important Points

• CTET exam city of applicant’s choice will be allotted on the first come first served basis only.
• The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee will be allotted the examination city as per availability in that particular city.
• If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city of examination or cancel the transaction.
• Candidate has no right to claim for the allotment of examination centre in that particular city.
• The request for change of examination city will not be accepted in any case. However, the CBSE will provide the option to make changes in the choice of CTET exam centres.
• The final allocation of the CTET 2024 exam centre will be available on the admit card of CTET.
• The details about the CTET test centre name, location and important instructions to be followed will also be available.
• If the CBSE finds that the total number of candidates is less at a particular test centre, then they might not conduct the exam at that particular test centre and allocate the test centre in the city which was opted as the second, third or the fourth choice by the candidate.
• Candidates are advised to complete their application process without waiting for last date.

How to change CTET Exam Centre?

Change CTET Exam Centres 2024: CBSE will provide the link separately after the closing of the CTET 2024 application form to make change in choice of CTET exam centres. If a candidate wants to make changes in the CTET exam centres 2024, he/she need to make sure that the correction in CTET exam centres will be their final choice and no further queries regarding centre change will be accepted.

1. Visit the CTET official website:- www.ctet.nic.in;
2. Click on the link ‘Exam City Correction’;
3. On the next page, enter the CTET application number, password and the captcha code visible on the screen;
4. Then click on the CTET 2024 application correction Tab.
5. Read the instructions displayed on the screen; and click on the checkbox.
6. Now, make changes in CTET exam centres as per your choice;
7. Mention the security pin that is visible on the screen;
8. After submitting your correct CTET exam centres, review all the info carefully;
9. For final submission, click on the ‘Yes’ button and all the information will be saved.
