CMA Intermediate Admission 2022: CMA Intermediate Registration last date is 31st January, 2022 for appearing in June 2022 term of ICMAI examination. You may submit online or offline admission form for Intermediate course registration.

CMA Inter Registration form for June 2022 exam is available. Recently, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (CMA Institute) has announced result of CMA Foundation Course June 2021 examination.

Qualified students of CMA Foundation Course may register yourself for CMA Intermediate Course. Those candidates who has not qualified CMA Foundation may also eligible to get admission for CMA Intermediate Course through direct entry route.

After registration to CMA Intermediate Course, you may want to know the applicable syllabus for your coming examination to be held in June 2022 and Dec 2022.

The CMA Institute has introduced new syllabus for CMA Intermediate students appearing in June 2022 term of examination. This examination of CMA Intermediate Course will be held under New syllabus 2016. The next CMA Inter exam will be held in December 2021.

CMA Intermediate Course Admission 2022

Registration to Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) Intermediate Course is open throughout the year for eligible applicants. But you have to take care of cut-off date for relevant term of ICMAI examinations.

CMA Institutes conducts Intermediate exams twice (June and December) every year. Graduates or Foundation qualified candidates are eligible to take Registration to the Intermediate Course of the Institute

Eligibility for Admission to CMA Intermediate Course:

Following candidates are eligible for registration in CMA Intermediate Course:

  1. CMA Foundation Passed; or
  2. CSEET (CS Foundation) Qualified; or
  3. Passed CA Intermediate Course; or
  4. Graduates; or
  5. Pursuing Engineering Course (having completed 2nd year / Semester IV/ equivalent).

In other words, you are eligible for admission in CMA Inter, if you passed 4th semester / 2nd year Graduation, passed Graduation, passed 4th Semester / 2 Year Eng. Graduation or equivalent, passed Engineering Graduation or equivalent, passed CMA Foundation, passed CAT Level – 1, passed CA IPCC Inter, passed CS Foundation, passed Post Graduation, passed Doctoral, passed ICSI, passed CIMA, passed CA and passed ACCA.

If you have cleared all papers of CMA Foundation Course, you shall be eligible for CMA Inter registration. Those candidates who have passed Class 10+2 and CMA Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India shall be eligible for admission to CMA Intermediate Course.

Similarly, if you have passed Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the CMA Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the CMA Institute then, you may fill up registration form for CMA Intermediate Course.

Those candidates who have completed their Graduation in any discipline (excluding performing art, music) may get direct entry to CMA Intermediate Course.

Exemption has also been granted to candidates who have passed Foundation Course of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or CA Intermediate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) by whatever name called viz. CA Inter, CA PE-II, CA PCC, CA IPC, CA IPCC.

If you have cleared qualifying examinations as prescribed in the prospectus then, you shall also get admission to CMA Intermediate Course under the New Syllabus 2016.

However, if you are waiting for the result of/or not passed graduation/equivalent examination then your registration shall be provisional. That means the minimum qualification for registration as a student of CMA Intermediate Course is Graduation or CMA Foundation Course.

Fee for Registration in CMA Intermediate Course:

You are required to pay fee of ₹23,100 for CMA Intermediate Course registration of ICAI. If you want to buy prospectus of CMA Intermediate Course, then you have to pay ₹250/- additionally.

However, you may also pay the CMA Course admission fee in two installments. The first installment shall be of ₹12,000 to be paid at the time of enrollment into CMA Intermediate Course.

The second or last installment of ₹11,100 of CMA Inter Course must be payable on or before 31st January 2022 for June 2022 and 10th August, 2022 for Dec 2022 term of examinations.

Without paying the second installment, you shall not be eligible for appearing in CMA Intermediate examinations. That means, if the student fails to pay 2nd installment within the prescribed time limit, the installment facility will be still available till next 3 Consecutive terms.

After paying 1st installment student will get study materials of both groups and can opt for oral/postal coaching of either Group (Group I/II) as per the choice of the student. After paying 2nd Installment student will be eligible to opt for oral/postal coaching of other group and computer and other training as applicable.

  4. Three passport size photographs – (One pasted on application form, one pasted on identity card and one to be attached with application)

CMA Inter Registration Last Date

Registration for the ICAI Intermediate Course is open throughout the year. However, the CMA Institute has set cut-off dates or last date for registration for appearing in June/December term of examinations.

Accordingly, you have to take admission in CMA Intermediate Course at least 4 months prior to the month of Examination to be eligible to appear in the Intermediate Examination. Therefore, students desirous to appear for June 2022 term examination should apply before Monday, 31st January, 2022 and for Dec 2022 term examination should apply before 31st July, 2022.

To appear in June 2022 Exams:

Students desirous to appear for June 2022 term examination of CMA Intermediate Course then, they should apply between 11th August, 2021 to 31st January 2022. In other words, the last date of registration for CMA Intermediate Course is 31-01-2022 for appearing in June 2022 term of examinations.

To appear in December 2022 Exams:

If you want to appear for CMA Intermediate December 2022 term examination then, you should have to apply for admission between 1st February, 2022 to 31st July 2022. In other words, the last date of registration for CMA Intermediate Course is 31-07-2022 for appearing in December 2022 term of examinations.

How to apply for CMA Intermediate Course – 2022 Exams

You may either buy physical registration form or apply online for admission to CMA Intermediate course under New Syllabus 2016.

A) Apply in Physical Application Form:

For CMA Intermediate registration, you may visit your nearest chapter of CMA Institute. You have to buy physical form for admission in CMA Intermediate course. Step-1 (Visit Official Website):

Step-2 (Proceed for CMA Intermediate Registration):

You may proceed for online application and click on register as intermediate student text link shown in the middle of that web page. You will be asked to select either oral coaching or postal coaching.

Coaching Type:

1) Oral Coaching:

If you opt for Oral Coaching mode, you have to attend oral coaching classes at Chapter/Regional Councils of the institute selected by you. You need to collect Study Materials from concerned Regional Council / Chapter / CMA Support Centre after receipt intimation from HQ by SMS/email.

2) Postal Coaching:

Students opting Postal Coaching mode shall have to submit answer to Postal test papers only.

ii) General Information: Your Name, Father/Husband Name, Mother’s Maiden Name, Nationality, Religion, Date of Birth, Caste, Gender, Marital Status and Occupation.

b) Address Details: Permanent and present Address.
c) Qualification Details: CS Foundation/ CA Intermediate (CA PE-II/ CA PCC/ CA IPCC)/ CAT-CMA Details. Graduates or Post Graduates or equivalent.
d) Payment: You may make payment using your Debit/Credit card or net banking.
e) Attachment: Upload the required documents viz. Passport Photo, Specimen Signature, Age Proof, Pass Marksheet etc.

Some other Important Information for CMA Intermediate Registered Students:

1) Welcome Message: Once you successfully upload all the required scanned documents and make payment online, you will receive a welcome message.
2) Reg. Number: Identification/ Registration Number will be generated only after completion of document verification and authentication from the Directorate of studies.
3) Study Materials: Study Material will be dispatched after generation of Identification/ Registration Number.
4) Compliance: Applicants are advised to ensure proper compliance and documentation.
5) Incomplete Application Form: Incomplete applications will be available in the system for further completion for a period of 30 days from the date of original application. During this period, an applicant may complete the remaining procedures.

Beyond 30 days, no previous information will be available in the system and an applicant shall have to proceed for making fresh application.
