CMA Foundation Mock Test shall be conducted on 30th August 2020 for candidates appearing on CMA Foundation exam scheduled to be held on 6th September, 2020.
This mock test shall be conducted online home-based mode. Thus, CMA Foundation course eligible students may appear in mock test through their mobile phones, tablets, laptops or personal computer i.e. desktop.
Eligibility for Appearing in Mock Test:
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that only eligible candidates for the September 2020 Foundation course examination will be allowed to appear in this MOCK test.
All details related to mock test will be shared by CMA Institute to students on their registered mail id. Note that Unique Email address and mobile number is also required for appearing the examination.
ICMAI recommends to appear in CMA Foundation mock test on 30th August 2020. You will receive the schedule, date and time along with link to be provided by the examination department.
It is also suggested to use the same system for the actual CMA Foundation exam on 6th September 2020 to save time for system checking as well to avoid any inconvenience on the actual day of the examination.

Basic infrastructure requirement for Mock Test
- For Laptop/Desktop:
- Continuous Internet connection with 1-4 MBPS speed
- Laptop or desktop with Webcam and microphone (functioning)
- Recommended Browser – Google Chrome (Latest version)

- Android version 5 and above
- Mobile phone with a functional Front Camera

Procedures for Mock Test
- Keep your Government Identity Proof (e.g. voter card, driving license, Aadhaar, etc.) /Student ID card with you before starting the mock test. This needs to be uploaded on the online examination page before starting the examination.
- Please keep your login details (Registration ID, Name, and Passkey) shared over mail in hard copy/write on paper before starting the mock test. Once you open the examination page, you will not be able to access your mails/files on your computer/laptop/mobile.
- Sit in a quiet room. Try to avoid bright lights behind you, e.g. Windows.
- Use updated Google Chrome browser and give permission to your Webcam and Microphone from settings before you download the applications on your Computer/Laptop/Mobile.
- CMA Foundation mock test will start sharp at 10:00 A.M. So, please ensure you login at 10 AM.
- Make sure you have enough power backup so that in case of electricity failure, your laptop or mobile does not shut down/switch off. Also, please use a fast and reliable internet connection during the exam so that you do not face any internet issues.
Direction for during Mock Test:
- If the webcam/microphone is not detected at the time of starting the test, the question paper will not load. Kindly allow the webcam/microphone access before the test.
- Do not press backspace, refresh, or close the window during the examination
- Do not submit the examination unless you have attempted all the questions.
- The Test once submitted will not be reset.
- You need to attempt all questions of the test in one go, all questions are mandatory. Note that there is no negative marking.
- In case of power failure, do not panic, restart the mock test using the same login information, and the same browser, the test will start from the same question which you had left earlier, and all attempted questions remain attempted.
Questions Attempted but Not Submitted
If you are not able to submit your answer due to internet connection, please don’t panic at all. CMA Institute has provided guidance in that situation.
