CA Intermediate registration last date is September 1, 2024 for appearing in May 2025 examinations. CA IPCC old course registration has been discontinued. Therefore, you must register in New syllabus of CA Intermediate Course.
ICAI CA Intermediate course registration is open through out the year. But you have to register yourself on or before the cut off dates. CA Intermediate exams are held twice in a year i.e. May and November.
For appearing in May term of examination, you have to register on or before 1st September. Similarly, 1st March is the cut off date for CA Inter registration for appearing in November exam.
You have to complete eight months of study period after registration to CA Intermediate Course. Thereafter, you will be eligible for appearing CA Intermediate examinations.
Therefore, the last date of CA Intermediate registration is 1st September 2024 to be eligible for appearing in May 2025 examinations and 1st March 2025 is the last date for CA Inter registration for appearing in Nov 2025 examinations for foundation route students.
For Appearing in January 2025: Students who cleared Foundation level Dec 2024 exam result declared in February 2025 may register themselves for the Intermediate course on or before last date i.e. 01.05.2024 so as to appear in the January 2025 Intermediate examination. That mean the last date for registration in Intermediate Course for appearing in January 2025 Examination is 1st May 2024 through both the routes.
For Appearing in May 2025: To appear in the May 2025 CA Intermediate examination, you must have to register in CA Intermediate course on or before 1-September-2024 if you have passed CA Foundation result declared in May 2025.
For Appearing in September 2024: Students who have registered in Intermediate Course either through Foundation Route or Direct Entry Route up to 1st January 2024 are eligible for appearing in September 2024 Intermediate Examination.

Direct Entry Route: You may register yourself through Direct Entry till 1st September 2024/ 1st March 2025 and complete ICITSS and 8 months of study period to be eligible to fill up the examination form of CA Intermediate May 2025/ Nov 2025 respectively.
CA Intermediate Registration for May 2025 Exams
CA Intermediate Eligibility 2024:
You are eligible for registration in CA Intermediate course, if you have specified qualification. CA Foundation or CA CPT passed students are eligible for admission in CA Inter course. If you have graduation/ post-graduation degree then also you may take direct admission to CA Intermediate course. Admission through direct entry route is also available if you clear CS Executive exam or passed CMA Intermediate level of exams.
CA Intermediate Registration Fees 2024:
Fees of CA Intermediate Registration 2024: CA Intermediate registration fees is ₹15,000 for both Groups. Articleship registration and student activities fees are ₹1,000 and ₹2,000 respectively.

Prospectus Fee ₹200/- (for Indian students) and for others US$ 20. Subscription for Student’s Journal ₹200/- for Indian students and for others US$ 20 for one year. Subscription for Member’s Journal ₹400/- for Indian students and for others US$ 40 for one year.
CA Intermediate Registration Last Date 2024-25:
CA Inter students are required to complete 8 months study period after registration. Intermediate Course registration last date is September 1, 2024 for appearing in May 2025 examination.

That means, if you have cleared CA Foundation Exam in the results declared for August 2024 then you are allowed to register till 1st September, 2024. You will be eligible for admission to the Intermediate Examination to be held in May 2025 after completion of 8 months Study Period.
Online Registration Process on SSP Portal ICAI 2024:
Online Application for Intermediate Course Registration on SSP Portal: This online registration process is helpful for existing Students of ICAI, who has successfully passed “CPT or CA Foundation Exam” and would like to apply for Intermediate Course Registration. Step-1 (Login to SSP Portal):
First of all, you have to create your account on ICAI Self-Service Portal (eservices.icai.org). Once, Login Credential is available with Student, Student may proceed for Intermediate Course Registration. If you have already created the Login ID on SSP Portal, please login to your account and access the Student SSP Portal.
Click on above button to visit ICAI Self Service Portal at eServices.icai.org
Step-2 (Student Cycle on SSP Portal):
Click on Student Cycle as highlighted below.
Now, click on “Intermediate through PE1/CPT/Foundation”. However, if you are eligible for direct entry, you may click Intermediate (Direct Entry) for existing students. Those CA students who have not clear CPT/Foundation but have passed graduation or CS Executive or CMA Intermediate exam are eligible for direct entry.
Step-3 (Fill Up Qualification Details):
Student’s Personal Details would be auto populated/Filled. Verify your personal details and correct if required then click on Save and Next. Thereafter, fill Qualification Details carefully.
Note that class X & XII Details are mandatory and Self Attested Document is compulsory to be attached. Xerox your all required original documents, sign it and scan to upload on SSP Portal i.e. ecervices.icai.org.
Now, provide all other details like medium of study in which ICAI will dispatch your study material. Route of joining CA Intermediate course viz. Foundation Route or Direct entry route. Click on SAVE AND NEXT button.
Step-4 (Upload Photo and Signature):
Please upload recently taken photograph. Image size must be up to 100 KB. Image format should be in jpg and jpeg only.
Note that only scanned copy is accepted, image captured from mobile/ camera or so will be rejected. Maximum size of image is width 21 centimeters and length 27 centimeters. If above image conditions are not satisfied, then your application will be rejected.
After Completing all the Mandatory Details, Click on Generate OTP.
Step-5 (Submit Registration Form):
The OTP will be sent to your mobile number and verification link will be sent to your email ID. You have received OTP for validation.
Enter OTP and complete validation and complete the Login process.
Enter the captcha text and click on submit button to receive your OTP. Your Application is Submitted Successfully, Same would be verified by ICAI and Approved accordingly.
