A CA in practice who have registered his firm of Chartered Accountants under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 may now download the soft copy of CA firm constitution certificate as on date. This is because the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has provided this online facility to members in practice in 2022.
Accordingly, you may get a copy of your CA firm registration certificate by entering some details as mentioned hereunder:

Therefore, any person who have the above required data may save and print the constitution certificate of any registered Chartered Accountancy Firm.
Note that in accordance with Regulation 190 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, a Chartered Accountant in practice or a firm of such chartered accountants shall before commencement of practice in a trade name of firm name apply to the Council in the FORM (i.e. Form No. 117) approved by the council for approval to use a trade of a firm name.
However, a chartered accountant in practice who wishes to practice in his own name need not apply for approval as aforesaid.

How to update the records of my CA firm card?
A member of CA Institute may verify, update and send the recorded FIRM CARD data as on date for seeking confirmation to concerned Regional office of ICAI.
You have to visit ICAI FIRM CARD official site and enter following registration details as provided to ICAI while registration of your CA firm.
a) Firm Registration Number;
b) Member Registration Number; and
c) Birth date.
